Recent Book Club Praise
The Japheth Book Club of Midlothian, Virginia would like to thank Micah's Child co-author Diane Lang for her wonderful talk at our February 2008 meeting. All of our club members were mesmerized by Diane Lang's comments on her first novel and the lively discussion that followed.
Mildred stated that Micah's Child was "yummy reading." Eileen peppered Mrs. Lang with myriad questions about how Ms. Lang's personal life experiences helped shape the evolution of the plot of Micah's Child. Ellen was transfixed by the subplot involving Nellie. Every member commented on the multiple traumas that Cat endured and how Cat's personality evolved throughout the novel. We all were fascinated with the title Micah's Child and its meaning.
We would like to thank author Diane Lang for her brilliant perspective and professional views on being an author. We all loved her visit and look forward to reading her other future works.
